La Limonaia is
a lovely villa dating back to the XVIII century that has recently undergone
a complete restoration in modern style. Organized into 2 floors, on the first
floor it offers a large open-space kitchen and living room with a cosy fireplace
and a bathroom. On the second floor you may find two large double bedrooms.
The vast garden –
250 m2 – is structured on two levels and overlooks a magnificent sunny
valley characterized by its rich vegetation: olive trees, vineyards and woods.

Villa la Limonaia is situated
in a strategic position in order to easily reach Tuscany’s most important
cities: Lucca, Pisa and Florence. Moreover, in the nearby area one simply has
to visit the beautiful historic villas: Villa Mansi, Villa Oliva, Villa
Grabau, Villa Bernardini, Villa Torrigiani and Villa Reale. Wine, olive
oil and food specialities are offered by oil mills, farms and wine producers.
Spa and wellness treatments are presented at Montecatini Terme, in
Monsummano natural cave and at Bagni di Lucca (holistic cures
also available).
Last but not least, the
area’s tourist offer is also enriched by many typical restaurants and
trattorie (Il Botteghino, Le Meraviglie, La Mora) and by sightseeing
tours, discovering old but never forgotten trades amid fragments of art and
